A is for art...

Since Elinor's arrival, I have had very little time to paint. It goes without saying. I had planned while I was pregnant to work on a series of paintings for Elinor's room and have them finished before she was born. The idea is the alphabet. And animals. And adjectives. At least mostly positive adjectives and animals I like to paint as well as ones you don't normally see in alphabets. I spent all of my Christmas break doing research and sketching. I had myself on a strict schedule of trying to complete 3 letters a week. Come February 9th, I had 7 letters completed. Since then, I've completed a total of 13 letters. Halfway there...Nevermind that we're not even moved in yet.
